Since 2007 the Mortgage Pirate crew and I have been providing top notch independent mortgage advice to thousands of people across the UK. However, after working behind desks for longer than I care to remember, the urge to re-discover our sea legs became too strong and so the shackles were off.
Hailing from the South West of England, close to the pirate stronghold of Bristol, we have amassed a deep knowledge of all things mortgage related. We feel that now would be the perfect time to share our treasure with everyone.
The Mortgage Pirate Crew:
Captain Grant a.k.a Greybeard
First we have Grant, the Captain. After working for some of the UK’s top mortgage brokers in the 00’s, he decided to go it alone over the next decade and ran a successful independent firm. He specialises in whole of market knowledge and is an expert when it comes to complex lending criteria.
Away from mortgages he is a big music fan with his favourite genres being Techno, House and Funk. He also likes to unwind by taking part in extreme sports and enjoys cooking food from around the world. Finally he would love to visit Japan or live in Ibiza.
Bosun Kayleigh
Next is Kayleigh, the ship navigator. She masterfully keep everyone focused and sailing in a straight line. She has over a decade of experience working within financial services at a senior level. Her hobbies and interests include shopping, soaking up history, and reading. Kayleigh would love to live in Disneyland.
Cabin Boys
Finally there are the two cabin boy’s. To be honest, at ages 2 and 11 they don’t contribute much directly to the running of this website. However they are of course they are the main reason that we all do this.
So today we weigh anchor ready for our new adventure.
